Could you play a role in guiding Kindred’s performance and strategic direction at Board level, bringing an independent perspective and an innovative approach?
Kindred is looking to appoint up to two new Independent Directors to its Board who have a commitment to Kindred’s values of social impact, collectivism, co-creation and collaboration as well as experience or knowledge of working with people and organisations least likely to access mainstream funding or borrowing. This is a voluntary opportunity available from October this year for a three-year term with Kindred LCR CIC as it establishes itself as a nationally innovative social investment vehicle.
We are interested in hearing from people who do not have direct connections to the local social economy and socially-trading organisation sector, though have a commitment to contributing to achieving the most inclusive economy in Liverpool City Region. We are inviting expressions of interest, accompanied by a current CV, by Thursday 2 September from people based locally and from outside Liverpool City Region.
For more information on the role and how to apply, take a look at the candidate pack here. You’ll also find an equal opportunities monitoring form, which you’ll need to submit with your application.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 2 September 2021. Apply by email to WorkWithUs@kindred-lcr.co.uk.
We look forward to hearing from you.
